MEGA Global Group Inc. appoints Trickie Lopa to lead Vogue Philippines, while founding Editor-in-Chief Bea Valdes takes on a broader content leadership role across Vogue, Allure, and GQ Philippines.

MEGA Global Group Inc., the publisher of Vogue Philippines, Allure Philippines, and GQ Philippines, has announced a major editorial leadership transition across its Condé Nast portfolio in the country.

Bea Valdes, who has led Vogue Philippines since its launch in 2022, will transition into the role of Chief Content Officer for MEGA Global Group Inc. She will be succeeded by Trickie Lopa, formerly Deputy Editor for Art and Culture, as the new Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Philippines.

The appointment marks a new chapter for Vogue Philippines as the title approaches its fourth year in the market. It also signals MEGA Global Group Inc.’s broader move toward stronger editorial integration, creative alignment, and multi-platform storytelling across its global media brands licensed by Condé Nast.

Bea Valdes Takes on Expanded Role as Chief Content Officer

As Chief Content Officer, Bea Valdes will oversee the content direction and creative strategy for Vogue Philippines, Allure Philippines, and GQ Philippines. In this expanded role, she will work closely with each title’s editorial leadership to ensure a cohesive, world-class vision across fashion, beauty, culture, lifestyle, and men’s style.

Valdes, a designer and founding Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Philippines, helped establish the magazine’s distinct editorial identity: one rooted in Philippine fashion, culture, craft, and creativity. Under her leadership, Vogue Philippines became recognized for placing Filipino identity at the center of global fashion storytelling.

“We are grateful to Bea for building Vogue Philippines with such clarity, discipline, and cultural sensitivity from its inception,” said Archie Carrasco, Chairman and CEO of MEGA Global Group Inc. “Her new role allows us to bring that same level of editorial and creative rigor across our Condé Nast portfolio.”

Valdes said the new role comes at an important time for Philippine media.

“I am honored to take on this responsibility at such a pivotal time for the Philippines and for Philippine media,” said Valdes. “Our goal is to continue building a robust multi-platform experience that celebrates the Filipino spirit through fashion, beauty and lifestyle, while championing stories that reflect the evolution of our culture and its place in the wider global conversation.”
