With a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from De La Salle University and specialized training in Foundation Formworks from Germany, his background has been pivotal in his more than two decades of industry experience.

Under Ed Saavedra’s leadership, Megawide has expanded beyond construction, becoming the largest private airport operator in the Philippines. In partnership with India's GMR Infrastructure, they manage the Mactan Cebu International Airport. Additionally, the company’s foray into renewable energy, with three solar power projects contributing over 100 MW to the national grid, underscores its commitment to sustainable development.

Revolutionizing Real Estate and Education Infrastructure

Megawide, driven by Ed Saavedra’s vision, has ventured into real estate through PH1 World Developers, undertaking ambitious projects worth up to PHP20 billion. The company's commitment to nation-building is further demonstrated through its pivotal role in the Department of Education's School Infrastructure Project and the construction of over 10,000 classrooms across Luzon.
