FedEx Purple Tote Campaign Supported Families and Children in APAC
FedEx volunteers worked with 15 NGOs in the Asia Pacific to donate about 2,500 kilograms of essential goods through the 2025 Purple Tote Campaign.
Over 900 employees from Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), a global express transportation company, dedicated over 750 volunteer hours to collect and donate about 2,500 kilograms (or over 5,500 pounds) of essential supplies for those in need, representing a 13% increase in volunteer participation in 2025 compared to 2024.
The donations were part of the annual FedEx Cares Purple Tote Campaign, which ran from October to December 31, 2025.
The efforts benefitted over 350 individuals, including young children, the elderly, and underserved groups, through collaboration with more than 15 non-profit organizations.
“Each Purple Tote bag represents not only essential support, but also the care and compassion that define our people,” said Maribeth Espinosa, managing director of FedEx Philippines, in a press statement.
“Initiatives like this strengthen our connection with the local communities and foster a strong culture of volunteerism across our team,” she said.
FedEx volunteers from 10 markets in the Asia Pacific (Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam) took part in the Purple Tote campaign.
The contributions supported children with leukaemia. It also provided educational supplies and assisted families and individuals impacted by natural calamities.
In fiscal year 2025, FedEx contributed $55.5 million to nonprofit initiatives, dedicated over 81,000 volunteer hours among team members, and utilized its global network to deliver disaster relief to communities in need.
FedEx Cares – the company’s global community engagement program – facilitates charitable giving, employee volunteer efforts, and in-kind shipping services every year to help support the communities where team members live and work.
This year, FedEx employees united across the region, formed teams, and worked with their chosen charities to gather essential items, including packaged food, books, toys, winter clothing, and hygiene kits.
More than 50 FedEx team members in the Philippines volunteered their time to donate household supplies and hygiene essentials to the residents of the Little Sisters of the Poor Home for the Elderly.
