Creating a culture of inclusion is a continuous commitment to supporting employees, TP in the Philippines leaders say.

Digital services provider TP in the Philippines (formerly Teleperformance) rounded out Women’s Month activities under TP Women.

TP Women is a global employee network that provides women across the organization a platform to be heard, supported, and empowered in their personal and professional development.

“It’s important we look at what we call the ‘invisible backpack’ that women continue to carry, such as time constraints, social expectations, and physical circumstances,” said Toni Tompar, executive vice president for operations for TP in the Philippines.

“These are barriers that greatly affect the opportunities we have to focus on and further our careers,” she said in an International Women’s Day event by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP).

Equipping Teams with Stronger Policies and Support Systems

Among the Women’s Month activities was ‘Harmony Queentuhan,’ a space designed to celebrate women beyond their professional identities. The initiative put intersectionality into practice by treating employees as whole people. It also yielded policy ideas for women to grow and lead

The company likewise created a toolkit outlining TP’s frameworks for women, covering provisions such as its Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy, Battered Women Leave, and Magna Carta for Women.

Capping the Women’s Month events was the EmpowerHER Leadership Summit, where leaders and advocates discussed the realities of women in the industry.

Inclusion is not a one-time effort,” Rachel Cacabelos, vice president for human resources at TP, said.

“It’s something we continuously build into how we support our people. When individuals feel seen and valued, they are empowered to grow and lead,” she said in an April 27 press release.

Navigating the Future: Emotional Intelligence in the Age of AI

Apart from the ECCP celebration, TP in the Philippines also participated in the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines’ forum, ‘Inclusive Intelligence: Women Advancing AI for Philippine Development.’

In her speech at the ECCP event, Tompar recommended that leaders reimagine traditional corporate structures and embrace human-centered skills to navigate challenges.

The most forward-thinking teams, she said, operate with outcome-driven behavior and performance.
