Canva and the Philippine Department of Education introduced a program that gives eligible Grade 12 graduates a year of access to Canva Pro.

Visual communication platform Canva and the Department of Education (DepEd) introduced the Canva Graduate Access Program, giving eligible Grade 12 graduates one year of continued access to Canva Pro.

The initiative allows students to keep using the artificial intelligence (AI)-powered creative tools they used in school – from creating presentations to building portfolios – as they transition from high school to university, employment, or entrepreneurship.

With an estimated 1.2 million Filipino students graduating from senior high school this year, expanding access to digital tools remains a part of preparing learners for future opportunities.

“Our goal is to ensure that Filipino learners are equipped not only with knowledge, but with the confidence and capabilities to pursue the opportunities ahead,” said DepEd secretary Juan Edgardo Angara, in a press statement.

“Partnerships like this help expand meaningful learning experiences that empower learners to shape their own paths after senior high school.”

Eligible graduating Grade 12 students with an active Canva Education account will receive an official email from the DepEd Philippines team with a secure activation link. Once verified, they will receive a confirmation code that activates their one-year Canva Pro subscription.  The offer must be claimed between April 1 and July 1, 2026.

The Canva Graduate Access Program builds on the collaboration between Canva and DepEd to strengthen digital and creative skills among Filipino students.

The collaboration includes initiatives such as Project AGAP – AI, which introduces students, teachers, and parents to the responsible use of AI in education. The program provides training on AI fundamentals and practical applications in research and content creation.

Another initiative, Project TAWID, focuses on helping learners translate digital skills into real-world opportunities. The program connects senior high school and Alternative Learning System students with industry partners and provides access to AI-focused training, micro-credentials, and work immersion experiences.

“Graduating from senior high school is an exciting moment when students begin carrying the creative and digital skills they’ve developed into university, careers, and entrepreneurship,” said Megan Townes, Regional Lead for Canva Education in Asia-Pacific and Japan, in the same press statement.

“At Canva, our goal is to ensure learners can continue building on these skills beyond the classroom by giving them the tools and confidence to keep creating, communicating, and pursuing opportunities in the path they choose.”
